quick question linking of accounts via IP
 

IP 1 linked to ebay account 1
IP 2 linked to ebay account 2

However, IP 1 and IP 2 are both linked to ebay account 3

Does ebay therefore also automatically link account 1 and 2 with each other ?

(all 3 accounts different cookies / windows user accounts)

They're probably all linked. I say probably because cookies are not in play, but the ip address could have done it. I'd say 80% chance they're all linked together.

Linking one and two account IP addresses to three, tells eBay to check those IPs and see what other accounts if any are related to it. Once those link, that's it. But still 80% chance because no cookies.

I am on "Fixed Wireless." It is a high-speed connection that connects from a tower on my roof to a large tower similar to a cell-phone tower. This tower services about 400 people all with the same IP address. Its sort of like using a library with multiple computers.

So far, they have not linked a suspended account to an active account.

1. Am I pushing my luck and need to start using dial-up?

2 accounts on seperate computers same ip address... 1 account was banned and the other I've never sold on. The account address doesn't match the ip address at all, 1400 miles apart, but still active. This is an old ebay account should I switch ip address and let it age some more then sell on it later or forget it. Despite the same ip address account 2 never got suspended even though feedback was left for account 1.

if you need safe ebay can't linked your account please use hide your ip service like vpn with dedicated ip address for your each account .

1 ebay / 1 paypal / 1 ip / 1 user account in your computer

It's a pre 11/07 account so despite the ip address matching a blocked accounts previous ip address I should be ok selling after switching the ip address.
