Unable to change WAN MAC Address/IP...anyone?
Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum but have read over the stealth guide a few times. However, I'm unable to change my WAN MAC address on my router when I login, which means I can't change my IP the proper way I'd like to. I'd like to avoid using proxies if I can as well.
My provider is Comcast/Xfinity and the router I'm using is the tc8305c. I've heard a few people say then MAC is hardwired, which means I'm unable to change it.
I'm also using a MacBook OS X
Did anyone else have an experience like this before? Any alternative method to changing my IP address? |
