Am I being paranoid? IP address
 

I was suspended last summer. I am very fortunate to have found this forum and aspkin's ebay stealth book and back on selling at full strength like I was before I was suspended. I made over 20 accounts and am now able to use just one account since my limits have been steadily increased. My question is I changed my router after I was suspended but never logged the ips that I have with comcast. With my stealth accounts I used a tmobile wifi dongle. Is it safe to use the comcast internet now with my one stealth account? Have the ips been changing since I was suspended. Will comcast give me a repeat ip address and I get linked to my old account? Thanks

If when u operated your normal account you never changed your ip your self, than I wouldn't worry, with Comcast , the IP will usually hold the same for several months, sometimes, so in a year, you may of only went through 3 to 5 IP addresses that change automatically . Below I explained how to pickup a new IP with Comcast, another option that you can use besides tmobile


I also use Comcast internet, nice IP range, and you can easily change the IP by going into router settings change the last 2 digits of your MAC address and hit apply and reset the the modem , I usually hit reset on the modem and than reset the router right after and u will pick up a new IP

Yes , you will get a repeat IP

I been doing this for a year and a half now and over 100 accounts , I have an excel sheet that is filled up

One thing I like about Comcast is that , when u start using a particular MAC addresses and you begin to log in the account regularly , once or twice a day, you will pick up the same IP for sometimes a few weeks to couple months, and when I switch accounts I will always use the same MAC address for each stealth account , but I always check before because it does happen where it will change and change to an IP u are using on another account, so that is when I'll change the MAC address, but until,than I'll keep the MAC the same for each stealth account, and I just change the last two digits of the Mac , they are sometimes numbers or combination of numbers and letters
