Default IP Address from 'THREE'

Guys,
Just a question about IP.

I have a three mobile dongle that gives out random IP address everytime...even seconds later.

I also have a three mobile, but when i re-connect to the internet it keeps giving me the same'ish ip addresses. (im using mobile as my dongle has run out of bloody gig)

Like it will give out 3 or 4 and just rotate them for a few days.

Anyone know why? Was thinking of gettng a second dongle from another provider.

Each carrier only has a certain number of IPs per cellphone tower. You don't need to get a new one from a different carrier, just move to a different location and you'll get a whole different set of IPs. If that's too much work for you then getting another carrier's dongle will give you new IPs

U nee to switch the phone to flight mode and back off again after 2 seconds and restart foxfi which i use or hotspot tethering and ip will change every time
but u will still br limited to about 255 ip addresses as the first number never change, i use this to run 2 stealth accounts
I have unlimited tethering on 3 but most networks don't allow this and can ban you after 30 mins

Seriously the last few digits keep rotating about 15 times.

This is getting annoying now. 15 different IP addresses in about 150 connections

This is a PAYG sim

Maybe look up your dongle model and see if anyone else has problems with it?

Can you not put the sim from your phone into your dongle and see if you get different ip's?

I don't think ip's go by the cellphone tower because I have driven 5 miles out of my area and still get the same ip range and 5 miles out defo has different celltower.

I also checked on the net as to where the cellphone towers are and drove to them and still same ip range.

I could be wrong but that is what happened to me.

Why are you worried?

If it is dynamic that's OK.

How many accounts involved?

about three or four accounts.

the last three digits of the IP rotate about 20 times and that is it, maybe less..
bit odd?

should i be worried?

If its only 3 or 4 accounts, it should be ok beacause if you get a repeat ip you can always use it on the account it has repeated from - assuming you are logging your ip's and users etc.

i went and bought another THREE mobile broadband sim, with pre loaded 1gb, it was £3.99 from PC WORLD/CURRYS and its giving me random IPs constantly , which is good. I just put it in my existing dongle.

I wonder my the sim with my dongle only has a few? Wierd... Ill keep that one on ice for a while. ITs a contract one, doh.
