ip address shows different state
 

Hi. I have a quick question. I use a wireless hotspot to access my ebay stealth accounts. I do this so my IP can change.

When I check my IP address using whatismyip.com and other services, I noticed that my hotspot shows different locations. For my location, it has said that I'm located in Florida, Texas, Georgia, etc. Right now it says that I am located in Iowa. The IP addresses are usually similar (many times they start with 172 or 208) and only having a difference of one or two numbers.

My questions are, since my hotspot is showing different locations for me, can I open stealth accounts using addresses in states other than my state?

Also, is it ok for my ip addresses to be so similar for different stealth accounts? I hope I made sense here. Thanks for any info.

So long as the IP is a US one you can create stealth accounts in any state you want.

Thanks for the replies; I really appreciate it. Also, it's not a problem if my ip addresses are close to the same, with only one or two digits different? This won't raise any red flags?
