new Verizon Fios Customer issue

so I just got my verizon fios last week but unfortunately its not letting me change my IP address either by changing the last two digits of my mac or releasing the dhcp

anyone here is also having this same issue? verizon is no good to change IP?

You need to take control of the router. Tell them your IT administrator would like a bridge modem so that they can do some networking on your router. They may be able to bridge the modem for you. Then buy yourself a router that can be easily controlled.

I have Verizon for my iphone and I just tether off of that.
