Tethering my iPhone in a different city?
 

I am about to move to a different city about 70 miles away. I change my IP address by tethering with my (Verizon) iPhone and iPad. When tethering in a different city will my IP show that it's coming from that city?

Yes, very likely since your phone will access the network in THAT city for tethering

Your IP will show origin from that city. Don't forget, eBay and PayPal are more interested in their cookies than a new IP address. Provided it is from the same country, you should be fine.

If you continue to use the same computer and accounts, you should be covered.

IP Address location (as long as it's within the same country) doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. Just make sure as Rsot mentioned tracking cookies are in place and you'll be set.

don't clear your browsing history or delete the private data. Make sure your browser doesn't auto-delete private data either. google what cookies are
