comast is what i use | Good news, this is the exact same setup I have. I have the Arris TM602G from Comcast with a Netgear N600 router.
Changing your IP should take no more than 30 seconds. You can even retain IP addresses when switching from one account to another Comcast if you re-use the same MAC addresses with the same account. This is important and takes practice and very good record keeping. Quote:
