OK I choose tethering via phone finally
 

Ok, after researching dongles, doing ip reset via mac, and vpn.. I came to choose PDANet and connect to my samsung galaxy 3. I get 4Glte and for the most part connect is stable and good signal range (im in seattle tech city). And the best part is doing the airplane mode I checked and saw the ip address always resets.. Question is..

1. When it resets.. should i be concerned the ip address is not blacklisted?

2. Should I do airplane mode and reset each and every time?

3. I'll monitor my ip address but if my smartphone tethering is not getting good connection should i just not log on to any other wifi etc..

4. I can use foxfi wireless as well too, right.. I mention that the wireless sometimes is buggy but does work and just do the airplane mode refresh.

Just glad i finally found something to get new ip address and use my laptop wherever i go. (including home where family member uses a home router and occasionally uses ebay)

1. For most, this is not an issue.
2. If it works, sure why not.
3. Not sure what you mean.

Tethering works. A lot of members use it for their accounts successfully.. glad it's working for you. :)

2. I guess what im asking for question 2 was... if i'm getting new ip everytime i turn on and off airplane mode.. is this a red flag in itself since ebay will see that one user id keeps getting new ip address everytime and records it...

3. Question 3 was if i'm not getting connection from my smartphone tethering.... I shouldn't basically connect anywhere else right? Lets say i have to message customers on ebay or etsy and my smartphone tethering doesn't get any connection (4glte turns to like E or something).. Should i not go to a wifi area like library to finish up the customer service i'm doing. I think i'm asking when my account gets more stable.. in the early rounds i'll stick with tethering 100% no matter what.

4. question 4 i'm asking is... since im doing usb and pdanet.... doing wireless tethering will result same result right (using foxfi)..

you'll be fine with tethering. They use cookies as the friendly welcoming handshake, its lets them know you are returning as you. IP addresses can change constantly without setting off red flags.

I wouldn't personally use public wifi spots

usb and wifi tethering should have the same results
