Re: VPS provider ....dedicated IP address provider

No one will post information like this on a open forum as it will simple lead to the service being overused.

Have a look on Google. Aim for a small but reasonably expensive company that has been around for a few years.

Re: VPS provider ....dedicated IP address provider

Yep Yep, usually once a service is well known it gets used and abused VERY quickly.

Think of a stealth user who gets shut down.. now that Ip address they used is barred. What MOST of these VPN sellers do is rotate IPs with other customers. Now some don't do that but most aren't in the business for stealth.

You might be better off with a VPS service instead as these are not as abused (yet!)

Re: VPS provider ....dedicated IP address provider

IPv6 VPN or VPS, should be safe. Not so much users have them, neither have been abused so much like the IPv4-based ones.

Re: VPS provider ....dedicated IP address provider

Abused? Why blame them of being abused if their services are needed and bought legitimately?

Re: VPS provider ....dedicated IP address provider

Vpn is horrible no port control and most of the time shared ips. If you dont set a good port and set up your dns correctly you dont have a shot with any serious account activity.

Re: VPS provider ....dedicated IP address provider

On the other side - VPS is horrible for all Non-Linux techy-users who don't understand a single command, neither want to write anything on DoS. That's for the cheap ones. The expensive ones - Windows VPSes with logging using RDP, all fine there, no problems. But still - pricey.

If someone finds a good IPv6 VPN provider, definitely might give it a try.

What is your thought on why 6 is better than 4?

http://smhttp.23575.nexcesscdn.net/8...v4_vs_ipv6.png

If 99,99% of the IPv4 addresses are already "in-use" and if large part of them were already abused somehow, overused and so on, then this means that not alot "good" IPv4 IPs have left (or will end in the coming up months), no matter if they're provided by VPS providers, VPNs providers, Proxies and/or regular ISPs/dongles services.

So therefore when almost no one (00,01%) is using IPv6 IPs (even providing them, huh), and when there're 340 Undecillion possible address combinations (not only 4,3B like IPv4), this means that the chance every single IPv6 IP to be clear, fine, green, unflagged, good, not abused and overused are better than the IPv4 ones.

So therefore for advanced people who really understand what they're doing and experts in that, they generally can "buy" lots of IPv6 IPs, place them on a single VPS, install there OVPN Server and use all of them using the regular OVPN Client, then switching the accs/IPs. Or even better - just installing some kind of Proxy Server software and then on the client PC to get multiple Portable Chromes/Firefoxes with addons for "Proxy:Port" where to add them and use them, so no more Windows User Accounts switching, no more VPNs, no more multiple VPS purchases, no more everything else. Starting Chrome1, having his own IPv6_IP1 when started, registered on eB/PP and playing their game. Then starting Chrome2 (if the PC is slow, closing CH1 ofc), having his own IPv6_IP2 and so on. That should be the future, not multiple user accs, not multiple IPv4 VPS purchases and/or IPv4 VPNs, proxies and so on.

Hope that you get the idea.

Re: VPS provider ....dedicated IP address provider

The only valid and currently relevant part is the very very minimal possibility the ip is already blocked or banned. All the rest of what your saying is great and mega techie but just not the level 99 percent of stealthers are at.

danshan 09-02-2014 06:53 PM

Re: VPS provider ....dedicated IP address provider

Vpn in the sense of stealthers is not what you are thinking stealthers get vpns by paying 5 bucks a month and installing some ui on their tablet or computer. They are not setting up open vpn clients with unique ips and creating their own settings. For the use I just described vpn is a bad choice. People read dedicated ip but what really is a dedicated ip from one of these 5 dollar providers and it is a crap setup that works for weak accounts but not for people trying to setup strong stealth accounts

Google for a VPS provider in US, as putting any link here will be considered as an advertisement.

Anything in the first few pages of Google will have been overused.

VPS - don't think so. VPS market is huge, as well as are IP ranges of know VPS providers. Very low chance of getting VPS with IP that was already used to abuse ebay, compared to VPN services, which oversell their IP as not so many VPN users demand a dedicated static IP, which is standard for VPS.

Re: VPS provider ....dedicated IP address provider

VPS services offered by first page Google providers do reuse IP addresses.

There may be a lower risk of an IP having been used on eBay or PayPal before than you get with a VPN, but the risk is still high enough to make it work while going deeper into Google.

They reuse IPs for sure, but the chance these IPs were used previously at eBay is very low.

Ip does not matter as much as isp or provider

It matters if 2 or more accounts use the same IP, and one of accounts start to do bad things. If one family uses 1 ip for several accounts, and does not violate ebay policies in any way, they will not be suspended.

Re: VPS provider ....dedicated IP address provider

You dont think when you jump on a dongle you and 4 million other people do not occasionally get the same ip. Ip itself is nearly useless to track users when your platform is as big as ebays. The isp or hosting is the key and is what every one of the big siliconies use and watch. Check your vps on blocked.com and you will see what i mean.

Are you using a vpn or vps when you go to blocked.com?
