Changing my IP
 

Hi,

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
I purchased the Stealth guide last night and so far so good.
I think it's brilliant.

However...

I have got up to the IP address changing part (not far I know!) and already have a question. On the guide it recommends various options for changing your IP but doesn't seem to suggest simply turning it off and then back on again a few minutes later. Is this not sufficient in changing the IP? I have tested it a few times and my IP seems to change every time. I am with SKY broadband?

So long as that method works for you then you are fine on that front, just make sure you track the IP addresses :thumb:

Yep, if that changes your IP address, you're good to go.

Make sure to track your IP address, use IPBurger.

Turning off the modem, waiting, and turning it back on works well.
