Which IP to reset?

There are 2 different IP addresses and I don't know which one to reset. My modem has an IP address but so does each computer and device. Which one should I reset to start ebay over?

You need to reset your public IP.

Internal network IP's do not matter

Your modem has an assigned address in your local network (something like 192.168.0.0) and this shall not change.

Your modem or, better, your connection to the outside world, has an IP address, assigned by your provider, and it is tha address that identifies "you" on the internet... this shall be changed.
This site will show you your IP address... the one to be changed.
