Can someone explain to me what the different between Mac IP and the IP on Iburger.

Im trying to change the IP address but when i go to IPburger..it show me the address number completly different than the one when i typed in the command prompt.i did everything in the stealth book to change my IP address but it wont change on the IPBurger BUT the MAC IP i can change without any problem

..Am I good to start making ebay account with changing the MAC address on my computer?

My internet provider is Cox cable

Change your mac address and then go to google and simply type "ip".. you should see it there! Make sure it has changed so do a couple tests to make sure. I use my iPhone for my I.P so it changes all the time. Right down your I.P'S for each account and ALWAYS check your IP before logging in. I myself didn't want to as its annoying to always check in the beginning but once your say 3-4 months in you couldn't imagine not checking your IP.

The more you get into stealth and the longer your accounts age, its the simple things that make stealth so important I.E ip address :)

nope it doesnt work..still showing the same ip address after changed..i have a modem that have a built in router..but im connect my computer straight to the modem no router.do i have to go to the modem and change the MAC address in the modem?

MAC IP: This is a unique IP associated with your Computer hardware, this is not viewable on the Internet.

The IP you see on ipburger.com is called a "Public IP", as you can guess....This IP IS viewable on the Internet.

IF you can change the MAC IP, it SHOULD but not guarantee that your Public IP will change. If you can successfully get a New Public IP then you can begin to make stealth accounts.

Also please be aware that in some cases, changing your MAC IP may not result in a new Public IP....in the end, your Internet Provider will decide if you get a new IP.

If your the name is on your internet bill just call them up and ask to change your ip from static to dynamic. :)

There are other ways to get internet access for stealths ..I.E using a smart phone as a hotspot.

Google gets your IP address from the DNS server that returns the replies. If you want to be sure that your proxy is working, try nslookup of google.com:

C:\Users\.....\username>nslookup google.com
You will get something like:
Server: abc.def.com
Address: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: google.com
.....

The abc.def.com, is what returns your IP address (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) to google. If abc.def.com is from your local ISP, then the proxy is not working.

Yeahthe ipburger is public ip address..no matter what i did to it..public ip stay the same and i called cox cable they say all customers have dynamic ip address..ehat should i do now in order for the public ip to change??

If it is a sticky dynamic IP, takes a long time to change.

Proxys vpns or hide my ip software are bad to use for ebay its better to just get a usb dongle or a mifi and than use ipburger or have a excel spreed sheet to keep track of your ip addreses

MAC address does not need to be changed if it's too complex.

You can consider dongles or tethering as well.

Proxies are usually very high risk dont use them, dongle, teethering are a good option. VPN & VPS work also but you have to find the right company and get dedicated ips not static.
