I am abroad, and I need an IP address from the States. Browsing the internet I found these websites any thoughts ?

Proxies are virtually no use.

A well chosen VPN (or even better a VPS) with a dedicated IP would be a better solution.

Which country are you trying to operate in? Please also change your flag to your correct country so forum members can help you best.

Proxies are rarely recommended, and should get a static ip from VPN or VPS

If you are usually in the USA then in that case there is no need for a VPN or VPS if you are trying to operate on EB and PP US.

Better idea is to use tethering, mobile dongles, changing your ISP's IP ect.

So I guess Google VPS and amazon vps are out of the questions.

Dedicated IP VPN address is the IP address used by a single user. Most VPN like to use common IP addresses, which are shared by hundreds of users, so each user can remain anonymous. While selected IP addresses are not safe with respect to anonymity, they have their own advantages.

Dedicated IP address blacklisted cannot be as easily as a common IP address. If you have a dedicated IP address, it is much easier to remain hidden, and reduce the likelihood of a blacklist.

I think dedicated IP more better for stealth paypal accounts. Most shared IP's blacklisted by paypal now.

It depends on your uses, if you plan on using what you listed for stealth perhaps it's a no go.

Dedicated IP address is better than Shared IP address because it is dedicated to single user and online security depends on your IP address.

always use either dedicated (datacenter, residential), or shared so much that it isnt suspicious (3g, 4g, mobile)
the second type is really expensive if you can't get sim cards tho..

I use a vpn most of the time. South Korea, which is where I've been before, is one of the few developed countries that impose censorship on the internet. And due to copyright issues, I cannot access many of movie or music-related services even though I'm willing to pay for them.
For instance, I cannot use Spotify without a vpn at all, and Netflix offers only a limited selection of their movies when I'm using the local internet.
So, I have to use a vpn service even though it means I'm paying to make my internet speed slower. I don't like my online activities to be exposed to anyone that shares the network anyway, so I try to put up with it.

Edit: I use Express VPN and suggest https://whatismyip.network/switch-ip...-new-location/ I'm hesitant to recommend it other VPN because I haven't used a lot of different providers for comparison.
