Change IP without refresh the browser page-will the IP be tracked?

When I switch my user account from B to A, I didn't change the IP used for account B.
And when I log in back to A, I found that my firefox browser was still open, stay on the eBay page for account A. But I didn't refresh the page. I quickly turn off the page.

Just want to make sure if account A will be affected by the IP? Will it be linked to account B?

I don't think so.

It would be a minor link anyway... one off.

Avoid it in the future... you will for sure, wouldn't you?!

So long as there is no refresh then the IP will not have been captured.

Safest thing to do is to log off the user accounts. Prevents this ever happening

Moving forward OP, log off and change IP - write it down if you need to
