Default Which VPN?

I'm stuck on a Static IP unless I spend $200/month for a business account. That's not going to happen. So I was thinking of going the VPN route.

Is SwitchVPM still the preferred VPN in the US? Any problems with it? How about ProXPN or WiTopia?

What should I look for and what should I look out for in choosing a VPN?

Thanks!

To be honest VPNs for stealth accounts are hit and miss. Some sellers like myself have used VPN services with no problem since the stealth guide came out in 2008. Because we have no idea who will abuse them in a serious manner and ruin it for all of us nobody is going to share that information. Even Senior members I know wouldn't tell me which ones they use and I wouldn't tell them back. Unfortunately if you go that route you have to find out on your own. Most other members on here suggest other forms of internet connection, dongle, etc.

Thanks Vogletron!

I understand. I'm also thinking the eBay trolls read everything on this forum.

How would they abuse the VPM - by screwing up and linking their accounts so that eBay recognizes that VPM as a "nest" of stealth users? Or is there something else?

Can you tell me what to look for and what to lookout for in a VPM? There's just so many of them.

Thanks!

None of them are good.

You can use a dongle or tether.

You think outside the box of VPN just because it gets mentioned.

You are wrong.

Those shared IPs are often blacklisted in most databases.

If you are going to choose the VPN route, make sure it does not change IPs constantly. You want to establish IPs in ebay/paypal's eyes.

Dongle can be bought in any electronic place...or ordered online - you would need service provider though

A service provider? How do these things work?

Is a dongle the best way for me to go? Is it a sure thing?

Are you sure of this? Usually you pay more for a Static IP for business accounts because some applications require a Static IP.

Did you read the stealth guide to learn how to change your MAC address?

Some ISPs will never change you IP if you have a long lease making it appear as a static IP when it's really not.
