Re: How to use VPS for ebay?
Are you doing this just to avoid buying another PC? Because you CAN create more accounts on your existing PC. That might be easier.
BUT... The first thing is, do you have a decent understanding of Linux? If you do, then you can get a Linux based VPS. They can be had as low as $5, although I would avoid those and go with something a little more stable for which you will probably pay about $10 per month.
If you don't understand Linux, then the easiest thing would be to get a Windows based VPS. But those cost more, because they have to license the Windows software. Probably, you are looking at $20 - $40 per month for one of these.
Stay away from the $5 wonders, they go out of business too often, many times with no warning.
Stay away from big providers, most of whom are known to eBay and Amazon.
Stay away from anything on the first 2 (organic) pages of Google.
Getting the VPS (signing up) is the easy part. Do you know how to install a desktop and browser software? How to set up VNC Viewer or use Remote Connection on Windows? How to use Putty?
The CONCEPT of a VPS sounds good to a lot of people for many reasons. Then, they get frustrated because they have no idea how to set it up and use it.
