VM with dedicated virtual switch.
 

Hey everyone,

This is my first post. I got kicked on amzn and am putting together my ghost system. From what i can tell my plan will work but i wanted to get some input and see if anyone has any advice on what im planning. This may also help others build a similar system.

planning virtual machines with windows 7.each machine will get a dedicated virtual switch. this way i can set my main computer to run all internet traffic over my normal nic. then i can stay on one computer and connect to the vm's and all there traffic will go over dedicated usb nic that is tied to that machine only through the virtual switch.

I will set up windows 7 then create a backup image so that i can goback to these original settings at any time. making it easy to start over if needed.


Questions:
book recommends static ip. but wont all my accounts be seen on this one ip?

Looking forward to others ideas and input. Or if more details are needed.

Static IP is obtainable through VPN/VPS, if you want to go the router route then you would just keep restarting it to obtain a new ip and make sure to note each time ip changes in excel so you dont reuse an ip

also i tend to find better performance with windows xp on vmware, if you plan on running many accounts

I plan on using Hyper-V. so i would need to change ip everytime i want to use one of these accounts? that would be doable for most opperations. what about customer service? would using a gmail account work for each amzn account? that way customer service wont have to worry about being tracked by an ip or have to restart the modem each time they change what amzn account they are working on.

The problem I see with this setup is that AZ is very picky about similarities and having multiple accounts with similar IP and similar location is risky, and if on top of that you add similar items/description then it's a real issue.
