Linksys IP Address changing
 

Hi. I read the ebay stealth book and have a few questions about the ip changing. I have a linksys wag54g modem router combined and I am on AOL. Whenever I switch the router on and off the ip address changes. I was just wondering if the same ip address i used for my suspended account will appear again for my new account. I just want one new account and the last time i logged into my old suspended account was over a month ago. Could you please tell me if the IP address that the router changes can be the same ones used months ago. If so can you tell me how to set up the mac address changing. I can access it on my linksys but it is disabled and I do not know what to write in the boxes. Thanks alot.

It can be the same but you have something like a 1/100 chance of the happening.

Just change your IP address and continue working with the rest of the steps.

So do you suggest that I just forget this problem and carry on with the other steps. Also I know this is in the wrong section, but why do i need a virtual credit card, ebay have never asked me for one before.
