IP issues

Hi Everyone, I have been a stealth user for easily five years, using BT broadband to change my IP's. Having got through over 20-50 eb@y accounts i always used to keep an excel log. However i recently deleted that by mistake and then managed to cc cleaner it from my macbook! Still trying to recover the document but with the macbook using a solid state drive, things do not look promising.

Baring in mind that the list also had flagged/linked accounts i now need to reassess my options. I have looked into iphone tethering but i am not in a 3g area and mobile signal is poor. I have looked into dongles but as i mentioned before mobile signal is poor so i do not think that may work. I still have the option of using BT fon from my router but do not know if that will flag anything.

Does anyone here have any ideas ways around this to manage several accounts please, i'm honestly racking my mind right now!

Thanks in Advance.

You can change your ISP at home to get a new range and start the log again

You could also get a VPN/VPS per account (but you need to choose the right provider) and then not have to worry about IP addresses

Hi James, thanks for replying to me. So there is no other way than either going down the vpn route or totally cancelling the bt contract to move isp's?

Is there any vpn service you would recommend? Prob is i need to move asap as i have a fair few eb@y accounts with heavy funds in PP at present.

Thanks again.

Re: IP issues

You can take a risk and carry on using BT, but it would be a risk.

Like James said VPNs are good alternative. I would recommend some but you are in UK sorry.

Re: IP issues

It seems that you need to get a whole new range of IPs (new home provider or new VPN service), and start logging all over again.

P.S. That is why I recommend to have a control center to be located on a VPS as well - to have automated backups of everything.

How much do you pay for dedicated bare metal server per mo?

I pay 70 eur/mo for co-location services for my owned server. As paying for a rented dedicated box is a bit expensive if it's needed for more than several months.

It is'nt just eBay that can ban you, paypal can as well, and they can do it just as often as eBay do, you clearly have not understood how stealth accounts work, we only use banks that accept mismatched names so no need for any of the actions you are taking!

Explain why you are telling the OP to not take any action about IPs????
