Re: What do you use for internet?

I have 4 methods.

I use a broadband sat uplink. Very good speeds nearly anywhere in the world but can be a PITA to change the IP on. I tend to use this method in conjunction with a decent VPN

Tethering/dongles. This is only a decent method if you have at the very least strong 3G signal, but its very easy to change IPs

Home broadband. This is the method I use most often. It can be really easy to get a new IP so long as you have a non stick dynamic IP

Internet link in my datacenter, that supports BGP. I bought an IP range from RIPE, so changing IP is just a matter of opening Windows network adapter properties and writing there any IP from the range I own.

Use VPN for majority of my accounts, allows me to have 5+ different ips at the same time and multi task between accounts with vmware easily

Re: What do you use for internet?

Tethering ftw! Only problem is you can't reassign yourself an old IP address, and sometimes IP addresses get reused. Always log your IP's
