E-Bay Tracking! IP WONT CHANGE NOW- NO reason!
 

SO CHECK THIS OUT.. I have been going stealth, changing my I.P, successfully on Comcast by switching the wan mac address and everything has been good... Until today.... Today I woke up and switched everything over in the proper succession like I always do.. BUT THE IP ADDRESS WILL NOT CHANGE!!!
This makes no sense whatsoever!! NOTHING is different. It is clear that the wan-mac address has changed but the IP wont!
Can somebody help me??

when you reboot the modem without changing the mac, will it change the ip?

Sometimes an ISP maintenance can effect this, you should try again later in the day.

I get this sometimes when using a Orange Mobile broadband dongle.

Talk to your ISP. You may have been moved onto a static IP?

Get a dynamic VPN. It is so much faster to change your ip address than changing MAC address of your router.

A dynamic VPN would be a very bad idea... No idea who else would be using the same IP address.

If using a VPN need to use a reliable one with a dedicated static ip that only you have access to, using a dynamic would will eventually lead to your demise. All dynamic means is everyone gets access to the same ips, so your just sharing ips with thousands of other people.

Mobile tethering is also a great way to go. Getting a new IP is quick and easy

Dynamic IP works great, used it for years, no linking issues. I record every IP

You should get a USB dongle or Mi-Fi device as a plan B. If you haven't changed anything, best bet is to call your ISP as previously mentioned.

This person keeps making the same posts about nonsense and then keeps yelling and screaming about how they are going to kill themselves.

Everything everyone has recommended in this thread has already been suggested to this person in other threads they made.
