Question Can anyone help with IPs?

Hi everyone. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to have two different IPs for two eBay accounts. The thing is that I have one real account left but unfortunately it is linked to suspended account. So it will die eventually. I still want to use it but want to buy Stealth acct and sell on both. Here are the problems I have with IPs:

1) According to stealth guide, you can swap routers. I have Verizon Fios. I connected Linksys router to Verizon and got 2 networks working but under the same IP. I called Linksys, they couldn't help, then I called Verizon and they said that IP is coming from the box, not from the router itself. Even if I switch between 2 Verizon routers I still get the same IP. How do you guys swap routers? What ISP do you use?

2) VPN seems to work great but I'm concerned about ISP name. It's some wired website, not common ISP in US. Isn't it going to be a red flag for eBay? (I sell apparel so for 2 accts I have to use different photos, this is time consuming and I don't want my stealth acct to be banned)

3) AT&T personal hotspot. IP changes few times a day or sometimes every other day. eBay won't like this, right? Other USB Internet sticks work same way.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanx.

1) I believe Some isp's will not send you a new ip, even if you attach a new router with a different mac. The IP binded by the modem's mac address. You could try calling in and swapping modems but that might be expensive or not possible with Fios, have not used it before.

2) eBay might look at the sever string as shown on IPBurger, but that's doubtful. People here using VPN or VPS would have problems if this were the case.

3) You should be fine with a hotspot changing the ip. Usually it's going to be with the same first 2 subsets and only the last 2 or 1 subsets will change. It would be smart to still log the ip used for each stealth though. Connecting to two stealths with the same ip could raise a flag and draw unneeded attention.

Thank you for response, darknezz19.

Did you use any ISP which allows you to obtain a different IP for each router?

Hotspot changed IP with the same subset range for the couple of times and then switched to a completely different IP. Don't feel comfortable using it for eBay.

If you have a router/modem duo its a little harder. You can easily achieve this if you ask your ISP for the BASIC modem with no router built in. That way you add your own personal router and then you can change IP.

as far as mobile tethering Fresh IP will not cause any issues because some people have Dialup. Dial-up gives you a new IP each time and Ebay knows this. So as long as your cookies are in order in different user accounts a Fresh IP will work.

This post might work out for the Router/Modem Duo. > http://www.aspkin.com/forums/ebay-tr...em-router.html

My isp ip doesn't roll unfortunately, but I can ask to swap modems to get a fresh one if necessary. Maybe just try a single stealth ola555 with that hotspot to test the waters. I have read users saying things like they use ips from all over their country and it doesn't match the geo location of the address on file. Also someone said they used an ip from out of their country and it still didn't give them a problem.

While I agree that if they looked close into it an ip that is completely changing it could look suspicious, but then again other legit users with the same service would have similar ip activity.

I've had IP's that spanned across the USA which never raised a flag, this is why it's important to have cookies in place.

As long as your using a reliable VPN company that offers Dedicated IP that doesn't share ips between users that will work great!
