Activity: 0% Longevity: 57% | | Using Phone for Tethering Multiple Accounts----same IP, then what?
Just got Mobile Hotspot setup on my Sprint phone.
Question for you experts: I have heard NUMEROUS times to log IPs, because eventually you WILL get the same IP, it's inevitable.
Gotcha, loud and clear!
My question is this: For those of you who have dozens or hundreds of stealth accounts....how do you keep track of which account logged into which IP? And don't you eventually run out of IP's that haven't been used at least once by another stealth account? What do you do then?
Please, no one suggest VPN's....I'm aware phone tethering is a great method, I just need to know about the specifics.
Thanks in advance guys!

You keep an IP log in an excel file or the excel version in google drive. Pretty easy to set up, and every time you get a new IP just search the excel document for that IP and if it doesn't pop up.. you're good to use it. Theres an example of this document that you can use on the forum but you have to search for the thread.
I've been tethering using my phone and have gone through about 100 IPs so far. About 7 duplicates. But others have probably gone through thousands of IPs. Its important to log. You shouldn't ever run out of IPs.

Ask Aspkin for the Software that logs IPs. It takes all the work for you.

There is a spreadsheet Excel in the forums that you can download for an example. Quite simple to log info and keep it moving. I Hardly ever run into duplicates with Phone tethering.

Apoogies, gentlemen, I should have been more clear:
I have bookmarked the sticky thread about logging IP's. My question was more particular: I heard one member say they only had about 200 IP's total. If that's the case, how does one run 20+ stealth accounts? Or is it truly unlimited IPs?
Just looking for confirmation. I don't want to set up a bunch of accounts and then have to pay 10 dollars a month for each account for a fresh and private VPN. If I'll run out of IP's eventually, I'll just keep my stealth accounts down to 3-4.
Those of you who have used phone tethering---can you confirm the amount of IP's you've run through? Is it unlimited?
Sorry for asking the same question twice! I just want to be through.

I've read the sticky about an excel sheet, but auto logging would be much easier. Don't want to bug Aspkin if it doesn't exist though...anyone confirm?

So you've never had issues with not being able to get new IP's? Out of curiousity, how many Stealths do you apprx run using phone tethering?
I'm just trying to avoid painting myself into a corner with too many stealth accounts.

Your IP pool greatly depends on your carrier, and your location (& also whether or not you're using 4G vs 3G).
Some carriers have way more IPs than others, and if you're living in or near a decent sized city then you'll maximize the amount of IPs available to you.
I've used various hotspots/dongles/phone tethering from every carrier sans AT&T and from what I've seen, Sprint has a rather large IP pool - the only carrier who has a larger IP pool is Verizon. You shouldn't run out any time soon unless you're logging in with a large amount of IPs daily. Even then, it should take a while to even get one duplicate, especially if you only have one or two accounts.
I've used a Virgin Mobile (runs off of Sprint's network) hotspot for many months now and I can only remember getting repeats maybe twice.
To answer your original question - if you happen to do get a repeat, just turn airplane mode on/off on your phone. That should be enough to get a new IP. If you're starting to get repeats a lot, then it may be best to get a separate hotspot/dongle from a different carrier to add variety and allow yourself access to an even larger IP pool.

I have a question: I download the excell sheet to check for duplicates and learned that I have 2 accounts linked because I used the same ip. I was doing it manually but i guess I missed one in between. My question is: If I have not shared the cookies is it safe to add an LLC to one of the ones that is linked through ip (once only). What should I do?

I run 6 accounts via stealth and I need to do the whole Router/MAC process and I've logged 177 different IP addresses within 4 months or so.
Sometimes, for some reason, I have a mac address that pulls the same IP address for a week in a row- I love these times because by the end of it, I'll remember the IP addresses for each account, with no need to check excel(But I still do, safety first right?).
Sometimes I get 3 different IP addresses wthin one day, with same MAC.
I'm pretty sure if I clock up 177 different IP addresses with 6 accounts, you can go into thousands with higher number of accounts.
Could UK and US be different? They COULD, but I can't see it being much different.
Just log the IP, it takes 2 seconds to check and copy/paste confirm etc.

Im on 3000+ IP addresses in total.
I run 1 dongle with 2 data SIMs.
IP goes into the left column on the spreadsheet and name of the account on the right.
I use whatsmyip.org to collect the IP and use CTRL + F to search if its been used before, no results means new IP.
Done.
