Absolutely! A VPN is just like a private tunnel, connecting your PC to a website and showing whatever the IP is that is associated with a VPN.

A VPS, on the other hand, where you are using the remote computer, is different.

Yes, VPN only solve IP issue.

All the other stealth principles shall be applied.

Also, if you want to use a VPN, make sure it is DEDICATED, that you are the ONLY user of that particular IP number. Pooled VPN's, like HideMyAss are generally not good for stealth. Dedicated VPN's COST MORE, like $10 or $15 per month as opposed to the pooled ones which can be had cheaper. But with the pooled ones, there is too much of a risk that eBay/PayPal/Amazon will have either seen their IP's before or that they have a list of ALL their IP's. And don't even THINK about using TOR for stealth!

Why have you selected VPN?

May be better to consider other options.

Are you truly USA based?

HMA use to be good but the software their platform takes up a lot of memory and seems can burn a good computer out fast. I stopped using them recently and switched cable providers again it keeps saying my printer is offline it's driving me crazy, did everything I was asked dunno what I hit.

Jeff what IP would you recommended ???

IP is not the issue.

Its the services offered by the ISP.

HMA was never good - always overused and potential for block = high.

Cell phone tethering and dongle are good sources of IP

It all depends. rsot's way is cheaper, to be sure. And some people swear by it. However, I am like you - I like my setups because I don't have to worry about IP's changing. My normal method is to use USB internet sticks to achieve this, but the right VPN can work as well. You can try 24vc.com for the VPN. They work. I have used them before.

What made you switch to using the USB stick instead of VPN, if you don't mind me asking? The guide notes that it's not recommended to use VPN as well.

Would you elaborate on how to change IP with a USB stick?
