Has anyone from the uk experience using these mifi devices?

The salesman at three was doing his best to sell me one, but he said the ip is static.

Is he right?

I would be surprised if it was a static IP. I could be wrong though

I use one from EE and its 100% dynamic. Good little device.

Mine is from 3, they are excellent, mine is a static IP, never changes, even though we just got upgraded to a home hub 5, the setting up of which was a bit of a parp, turned out to be a plug that wasn't fitted together properly, why can't plugs be just that plugs!, instead of coming in two parts these days that have to be clicked together.

Anyway, my mifi is a Huwei and it works fine, wish I had taken a 12 month sim on it now instead of a six month. About £120 for a 12 month one if I remember right.

Surprised Three have static IP addresses for midi devices :s

On a side not three have got a decent offer on at the moment.

I'm currently on EE but will be moving to Three saves me £10 a month
