At&t IP ranges 3G vs 4G & 4GLTE
 

My At&t service just up graded from 4g to 4g LTE this week. I'm getting a lot of repeat iP's, I went into my elevates settings & I've been experimenting with the devices mobile broadband settings. It offers:
4G only,
4G LTE only,
& EDGE only.

I tried switching to the "EDGE only" hopefully finding a wider pool of IP ranges But It is extremely slow. I'v only suffered through about 3 connections. so far, no repeat Ip's.

My question is am I wasting my time on the EDGE network? I'v goggled what edge means I can't find the answer so I'm guessing it is either 2g or 3g connection. I can just tell you it is painfully slow. (70kbps download). Whenever I switch from any of the connections I get a new IP so since I have 3 choices on the devise, 4GLTE only, 4G only & EDGE only,
Do I in fact have 3 separate different IP pools to choose from?
Or are at&t's ip pool the same across all their networks?

Unfortunately you can't really have your cake and eat it too. 3G is going to have the largest IP Pool but your going to have to accept the slower speeds.

to my understanding they are three separate pools.
