Buying on Ebay Guest Checkout - TOR free alternative?
 

My Paypal account is banned although my Ebay account is NOT banned. So I can't buy on Ebay the normal way by paying with a Paypal account. I have to use Guest Checkout which lets you pay via Paypal without having a Paypal account.

I've bought several low value items in the past few months without problems. I used TOR with UK IP address and a credit card NOT on my Paypal banned account. Today I got several emails saying this:

So basically they're banning several accounts that don't exist! I just used guest checkout! I also logged into ebay with my real IP to check I could still access my old Ebay account that I don't use anymore and it wasn't banned.

Anyway, those banning emails are annoying. Is there a free IP changing software you could recommend that Ebay won't "ban"?

do not use tor

ebay will only ban a banned ip number! so get a different one, hotspot your phone or get a dongle, they all change ip upon reconnection.

you might be also suffering from cookies or banned details, linking you.....read stealth.

Thanks. I already follow stealth rules and I'm familiar with it. I'm just looking for a free IP changer that Ebay won't ban. I don't want to use my phone.

Where did you get the idea to use Tor? When you understand how it works that should ring alarm bells.

As I always say, it doesn't pay to be cheap with stealth. $10 VPN can save people $$$ in trapped funds

I know how it works just fine and I've not had any funds frozen as I'm just buying things. I knew before I used it that Ebay may ban the account. You're response doesn't help. I asked for free IP changers that would be fine to work with Ebay. I'm only using it to buy things with Ebay Guest Checkout.

You're in UK, you have loads of IP addresses available.Why would you use Tor or some dirty free proxy/vpn?

What loads of IP addresses are you referring to? I have a stealth Paypal account and I've also had my real Paypal account banned. So I can't use my real IP address with Ebay Guest Checkout as Paypal may ban my stealth account.

There are many ways to get different ip, as detailed in the stealth guide. Resetting your router is one

That doesn't help me. In my 1st thread I asked if there was any FREE IP changing software I could use with Ebay. Stealth guide only mentions a few commercial VPNs.

we were trying to help you but you 'know what you are doing', so why ask....yes keep using free proxy then, and you can share your biz ip with some guy from the ivory coast hehe...

Getting a bit angry with these silly replies which didn't answer my question. I realize you might be slightly stupid with your thread spoiling so I'll explain myself again. I asked politely for free IP changing software suggestions and I don't have a business. I only want to change my IP for buying on Ebay guest checkout. Judging by the off-topic replies nobody has any suggestions so I've unsubscribed from this thread.

There are no free "IP changing" services that I am aware of. About the only thing I could recommend would be one of those cheap VPN services that give you access to 400 servers in 30 countries or something. Those are about five or six bucks a month. I wouldn't try to operate a SELLER account on them, but they should be OK just for buying.

STOP USING THE TERM "FREE IP SOFTWARE"....Your living in Fairytale land. You clearly can't take the Hint that FREE isn't going to work!

Simple answer there is no good IP changing software... Go route of stealth methods...

IP changing software does not work.

You need a uk dongle, that's the cheapest way. Or put the sim in your phone and hotspot your phone. New ip everytime you switch phone on and off.

Just wanna say you are not familiar with stealth rules as you previously mentioned or you would already know to get a dongle or a broadband sim etc.

So. Don't use TOR, don't use ip changing software. That's my advice for now :)
