Dealing with Multiple Gmail accounts
 

Ok I get it treat Gmail like stealth paypal/ebay
but is this safe?
Forwarding my gmail accounts ( I have 4 attached to stealth accounts )
to another email address.
I want to do this as It's hard to log in to each one separate just to check emails
I would not answer the emails though my device I just want to forward any emails I get on Gmail to see if items have questions or sales so I stealth log in and ship.

Yep that is totally fine. I have 20 odd gmail accounts forwarding to a single email address without any issue for over 3 years now

I just download the Gmail App on my iPhone and add them all and haven't had any problems.

When I create a gmail account I only add forwarding when I start using ebay and pp. I have about 75-100 gmails currently forwarding to my main gmail.

I don't like so many gmails going to a master though so have created a main Protonmail account as a master.

Btw when I create a gmail, the first thing I do is disable images. BUT sometimes when I open the email in my main account it show's the images!! has anyone had this, makes me freak out for a second or two but hasn't caused any damage as yet I don't think

Do NOT download the new gmail app for iPhone. The option to "not display external images" has been removed from the app. You will be linked.

Use Mozilla Thunder Bird for your gmail accounts. One of the best ways to go. I'm not sure of a solid iPhone method yet. Maybe one of the other guys can chime in.

Firstly - GMAIL have designed the system now with your privacy in mind, so all images go through their proxy servers, which means the sender (ebay/paypal) cannot see your IP / location. Needless to say dont click any links. So in that aspect your safe, dont worry.

Protonmail should disable all images by default... - or if you mean your master GMAIL.. can I ask, is the images set to disabled for that?

Yeah I was talking about Gmail, click on an email that comes through on Master, boom, logos. I go and check settings on other gmail and images have been disabled

But is it disabled on the master account? I think you need to disable on the master account as configuration from accounts forwarding the mail isn't carried over.

Disabled on both! I have had this happen many many times, to the point where I never open ebay and pp messages now in my master gmail

There is an option to disable images in the Android Gmail app, are we still safe to use the app without clicking links?

Are you also saying that it's safe to use the app, regardless of disabling images - and this also applies to Amz?

Preferably you want to disable images in case GMAIL's privacy policy decides to change in the future. Its the safest approach to take.

Its fine. i have 3 accounts and all are forwarding to a single email address.

i user em client and have like 60 accounts hooked up to it works great for me and there is a free trial

I have configured all of my stealth accounts to forward mail to a central address. Iv'e been using K-9 Mail from the play store on my android device to monitor messages and such. My question is, is there a way to reply to customer messages from multiple accounts from my phone without linking them together? This would save a lot of time having to log into each account to reply to a message.

You can add a lot in the Gmail app .
I have more than 40 i attached also yahoo one

Thanks for that reply. I was also just learning about that.


I'm checking out thunderbird now. I added a few email accounts and made sure to disable all external images. Will make sure not to ever click any links... :)



Hopefully eBay will never merge with google and we won't have to worry about multiple email address showing up under a single IP.
