Router IP Change Issue
 

Purchased a D-Link 655 router to change IP. I thought that I could use a straight connect from modem to computer for one account, and the modem/router connection for another (to keep accts IP separate in case of suspension). Well, it worked for about a month and now they (the straight connect and router connect) are both the same IP address. How can I change this? I've tried rebooting the router and modem and it's still the same prob..

Also, this is a Macintosh computer, so I cannot do the same config that I've read about in the forums for PCs.

It seems like your router and computer are now both using the same mac address that your computer has...try changing the mac address on your router to use the default mac address.
