I use virtual machines, because I can handle Amazon there too. . Just my personal opinion.

If your stuck using Windows... I'd try and use VMWare... Windows has a nasty habit of making changes to things without asking permission.

Personally I like Chromebook User accounts for Stealth. I have a hackers weapon of choice, a Windows 7 Lenovo ThinkPad with a i7, Nvidia GPU and two SSD's.... With VMware Workshop installed....

But I prefer to use my Chromebook for Stealth.

I put the Chromebook in Developer Mode, installed Crouton and a Command Line Interface only version of Linux Ubuntu. There isn't anything I need for stealth I can't do with this trash $400 Chromebook.

Plus the new CB's let you download and use Android apps from Google Play...

But if all you have is Windows and VMWare seems too complicated you'll be fine with Windows user accounts.... I'd say your better off tethering with a Cell Phone for IP's than using a VPN on Windows... But you'd most likely be ok either way.

Okay to boil this down for everybody... is the only advantage to using VMWare over different user accounts the ease in switching back and forth? Or is there another advantage I'm over looking?

Confused. Are you using Mac or Windows? Your initial post said windows.

Either way, a new user account for ebay and paypal use would suffice.

Not necessarily. Switching back and forth is easy for both user accounts and VMware.

But if you use VPNs, such as IPBurger within each Virtual Machine (VM), then you can run multiple ebay/paypal accounts simultaneously, so you wont have to deal with all the switching back and forth. That's a neat advantage.

I would recommend using a VM, less chance of a leak. Personally tho I use antidectect and set different accounts to be shown as using a different device I.e mobile tablets etc.
