Taking over someone's ebay account with persmission

I have a ebay name and paypal name that are in great standing.

My very good friend is giving up on his ebay and paypal accounts. He said he will give me the ebay account. We looked into it and I just need to put my name in place of his name on the registration form, and then update the address and credit card.

Is it okay to "take over" his ebay account? I want to manage both ebay accounts with my one paypal account (its a merchant account).

Do I run any risk with this?

Lastly, if it does work, can I have 2 different addresses on the 2 ebay accounts?

I have tried that twice. One was successful after changing the Name and Address and linking a PayPal with the exact info. The other account was restored as I only change a few things and started to sell.
