You are comparing 2 different things, 1 is a browser and the other is a Virtual machine. Even if you used Virtual Box you still need a browser.

Is it possible to run firefox portable from a flash drive. Sometimes I work on my laptop other times on my PC. I always use a VPN for each account.

Its not free but you should also check Kameleo or Multiloginapp if you want to manage multiple profiles because running a lot of VMs can be painful and costs a lot of storage space..

MLA is no longer free. Think they recently changed their free tiers. to 10 days trial rather then 10 free profiles.

virtual box is the best I can't help but always say that. In my opinion though.

Fresh firefox portable on different windows users are good enough to use and not linking anything .
