Stealth account images
 

Hello friends

I recently opened an eBay stealth account and I was about to upload my first dropshipped item (1 or 2 today and slowly add a few more in the next few days).

However, when I saved the image into my desktop, I realise that if I upload them into the listing, perhaps eBay may link me with a suspended account.

Now, for the stealth account, I am using firefox portable with a different IP address.

It is of my knowledge that perhaps I needed to strip the info from the image I got from the supplier (I basically right hand click on the image and select "get info") and I can see that it shows my computer username and some other info even after I passed the images through "imageOptim" in my mac to strip the EXIF data".

Can eBay see this info (for example, my real name which shows on the computer username?).

I am not 100% on this.. any suggestions?

Why not use batchpurifier or similar program to clean the image?

Thanks for your reply. I actually used "imageoptim" to clean the images (supposedly!) that I downloaded from the supplier, but when I open the new pictures again and I right hand click "get info" I can see the following info under "general"

Thanks for confirming.

Based on the screenshot i added yesterday, is that all the info visible after cleaning the images? my computer user ID (which happens to be my rare but real name) shows when clicking on the image and then "get info" ...

What info am I supposed to see after cleaning an image?
