PayPal Canada requesting Tax documents
 

Hey guys

I had an issue with my PayPal account. It's actually 4 years old, good standing, no issues. I started selling on eBay in March this year for less than $10 items. I made around 4k to 5k in sales upto now and I get an email saying they want proof of my address and they want me to submit my tax documents. When I login PayPal it asks me to submit that info. Any help would do. Any eBay complaints I had I always resolved it before anyone steps in. Can someone help. I do not feel comfortable giving PayPal my tax info with my sin number. Btw it's a personal account, not a business account.

They only want a coversheet from your most recent tax return. The coversheet shows a redacted SIN with only the last 4 digits visible.

I guess PM me if you need some help.. but this should be pretty easy for you to fudge your way through.
