Moving Firefox portable folders to usb drive
 

Hi all,

I recently had to rebuild my windows machine and needed to recreate all of my users, which was close to 40. During the process I realized all I did was move their Firefox portable folders from the old drive to the new drive under each user profile.

This got me thinking. Why do I need multiple accounts. Why can’t I keep the Firefox portable folders on a USB which would allow me to take my accounts with me and not have to depend on remote connections.

Has anyone had experience with this?

In windows 10 I've gotten linked (I don't know how), if I use firefox portable within the same user. I just say, screw it, create different users and move them one by one. I don't want to take anymore chances.

Flash cookies was a thing back then... its was browser independent and they could track you regardless what browser yo uwer eusing, not sure if it is still a thing.

What could make it easier for you, use bluestacks with tweaker (different IMEIs, etc.) with Proxifier, it is much quicker to setup than RDPs / virtual boxes.
