using aol to set up ebay & paypal accounts
 

Does anyone know if you can use aol to set up multiple ebay & paypal accounts?

Are they able to tell it's you logging into the accounts?

I believe I read in the forums that you can set up multiple accounts but you should log off aol, then log back in again, is this right?

I have one account on aol right now, I used to be on cable, everytime I go to list an item, they want to call me, is this usual behavior, will they ever stop making me call?

If you can answer the questions, I appreciate it.

What you read on the forum is using AOL dial up to create and log into multiple Ebay accounts using diffrent window users. You would than show different IP each time you log into your Ebay accounts. This will not work with AOL Broadband, only paid AOL dial-up account.

Thanks for the reply, does anyone know why ebay keeps making me call to verify my identity when I am on aol dialup everytime I list an item or revise an item, so far I have had about 10 calls in the last 3 days to verify - just wondered if they will ever stop making me call.

Are those all new accounts? If so, they will call to verify first time, but they should not be calling you for every listing you have..

You SHOULD have multiple user accounts on your computer.
1 for EACH set us accounts (eBay & Paypal)

If you use AOL dial up your are covering the IP address issue.
Using the User accounts on your computer for EACH set of accounts will cover you on the cookie/Flash object issue.

You are getting the phone calls to verify your identity because you are deleting your cookies/Flash Objects.

I only have 1 account on aol dial up right now, this account is from 05 and I haven't used it in about 3 months. They linked up alot of my paypal accounts, so I decided to start with using stealth with my ebay accounts so they don't get linked up. When I set up new accounts on aol dialup, can they be in different states, can eb or pp know what state you are coming from on aol dialup?

You REALLY need to read the Stealth Guide.
No one ever said anything about multiple AOL dial up accounts.
