Default Firefox

I have been using all the versions of IE for years I am more familiar with it. I have used Firefox here and there and have played with some add ons.

My question is, since most of the people here seem to be pro Firefox for Ebay/Paypal, is there any settings that need to be changed in Firefox? Or is all the defualt settings fine?

Also what are the best add ons for out application of it?

Thanks.

I use firefox...

First things first. Google mozilla add ons. Install better privacy. This will allow you to delete flash cookies as you see fit. You can also set automation rules for deleting flash cookies.

Regarding deleting cookies and other things.... I wouldn't do this will ALL of your accounts. If you have a separate user account on windows with each account you have, you won't need to delete anything. I delete all of this garbage to keep my computer in tip top shape. My point is, this isn't something that EVERYONE does, so don't do it will ALL of your accounts.

I have mozilla set to delete everything possible when mozilla is closed. cookies, flash, autocomplete, everything. This is found in tools>options>privacy

As far as other add-ons, I use xmarks to back up my bookmarks. There are a ton on the website, but I'd be leery about installing too many. These are designed by 3rd parties, and some are not trusted and just there to install adware.

Thanks First Edition.

Yes, I am using separate user account so I am planning to NOT delete cookies.

I have used XMarks before. So do you think it is ok to sync with XMarks across all of my stealth accounts?

xmarks just backs up bookmarks in your browser. I would be careful with bookmarking certain things in eBay, like the window that has register as a seller, or some other such wording. Bookmarks outside of ebay and paypal shouldn't be a problem.
