Smile Virtualbox and sandboxie

Hi guys, been a while since i been on here but i have a question since i have not upgraded to Windows 7 64bit Ultimate... sweet system too.

Anyway....

I used to have multiple user accounts on my last build which worked fine.... however im wondering if this is even necessary anymore... just saves switching accounts if i can do it another way.

Im wondering if virtualbox or sandboxie are a solution.
Virtualbox you can obviously run a virtual os, so it will be unique no matter how many different virtual boxes you can run... so i guess you can have one for every account which is fine.

What about sandboxie ive just discovered this app and its awesome what about running IE or your internet browser through it in its own virtual space ??? would this be as effective as running it in a virtualbox ??? obvioulsy it would be much easier and faster to run.

Has anyone used this config and if so is it secure and safe ? any technicalities of why we should or SHOULD NOT run in this environment.

Thanks guys.

All i can say is i use VMWARE & i have a different os for each account. This works well as i know nothing can get linked this way 100% unlink-able obviously different IPs aswell. I have no experience with the app your talking about.

yeah virtualbox is exactly the same application only open source.

Um, how do you use a different ip within the vmware ? currently i have different mac addresses for each vm however obvioulsy im going throught the same router so all the internet addressess are the same. Should i use something like TOR or find a proxy within australia ?

proxies are not the best as they sometimes can be tracked. I use VM but I interface to the router though setup online and you are able to change the mac address that way. By changing the Mac address you get a new Ip when you power cycle the modem. if you can try and keep track of the ip's just in case of a rare case of the same ip from another acct. coming up. You really don't need VM though. Just a new user acct. to keep the fklash objects or cookies sep.

so using virtualbox with a Dedicated IP VPN is a solution for overseas users of USA stealth PayPal accounts?

Am I just dreaming? Is it really a solution?

Yes, I have 3 US accounts set up like that, all selling fine. You just need to be carefull in what VPN provider you choose; don't go with a big one, dig deep.
