IP Address - PROBLEM
 

Hi everyone,

I just purchased my eBay Stealth guide and have been blown away by the amount of information and how much time I have wasted before buying it.

The only problem I am having is with the IP address. I am from the US and live there 6 months of the year but the other 6 months are spent in Costa Rica.

What is a good solution to solve this problem???

Do you take the computer with you back and forth or use a different computer?

If it's the same computer don't delete cookies and flash cookies. If it's a different one, I recommend you copy the cookies and flash cookies to it.

It would also be a good idea to let ebay/pp know, so they think your account got stolen.

I have a brand new computer here and will be starting multiple accounts from it....well that is the plan anyways. Did you mean let them know so they dont think my account got stolen? I apologize here but I am new at all this and trying to learn as much as possible.

A US based Windows VPS will allow you to wander the world and never worry about restrictions or IPs.

And where would you recommend getting that? I honestly am not too sure what that is but looked it up online and found several different companies offering "Windows VPS" for X amount of dollars per month.

for basic selling accounts: use dynamic ip broadband, and a router

Also vps is like running a website since you're on a server, not very safe for stealth purposes, pre-paid dongle and a good vpn would be much better.

If I was to be in Costa Rica for 6 months I sure as heck would not be online with ebay everyday :)

If I understand you correct you will have say 4 ebay accounts that were made in the US.

In CR you wish to continue to access those 4 ebay accounts and your PP account(s) and you will have someone/somebody shipping your items for you back in the states?

If you have someone shipping for you in the US while you are in CR then use inkfrog/auctiva to autolist every day never needing to go to ebay then call paypal and explain to them you will be in costa rica for 6 months and have them note that in your account.

Before I used remote desktop logins and VPS's I would call PP and let them know I would be in Egypt for a month or Thailand for 3 weeks, they would note that in my account and I never had issues logging into PP from countries I let them know in advance I would be staying in.

If I was in CR and I HAD to log into Ebay with a US IP and I did not have access to a remote desktop login, a cheap win2K box running teamviewer 24/7 or a US VPS I would enter Ebay via AOL software. I have never had any trouble logging into various ebay accounts via aol 8 version. YMMV.

What about from my iPhone? I have read from other sections you can use that as a tether and every time your IP will be reset? I am guessing this is just going to be a Costa Rican IP though?

Is paypal strict on the IP address not being in the US? What is my least expensive, easiest method to use to access multiple stealth paypal accounts?
