| | | MyWay | 01-25-2011 06:26 AM | With Stealth account, can you register a non-existing (fictional)name & home address? Quick question:
With Stealth account, can you register a fictional
name and home address if you don't want to use the
information of your relative or friend? What about using info of
a dead relative or friend? Sounds funny? But this is serious
inquiry.
And what's the disadvantage of this. |
| tokie | 01-25-2011 09:47 AM | Ebay stealth answers all those questions and more, just saying :) |

Also an alternative is to search the forums - lots of posts about this...lots. Welcome to the forums. |
| MyWay | 01-25-2011 10:18 PM | Thank you all. Yes my friend in the U.S. has the Stealth ebook and scheduling to learn it, we'll apply it in the U.S., but we don't want to spend time to finish learning all about it as we're very busy if it doesn't have the option of using fictional name and home address, as that's what we need to do, not using relative or friend's infos.
So I take it as a Yes, we can use fictional name and home address? |
| GreenBean | 01-25-2011 10:30 PM | Is this today's joke? You are busy? excuse me. Are you implying that users here are NOT busy too and therefore you merit the answer. :faint:
If you take that as a YES use phake names etc then you should not even be using ebay as a stealth user.
Do not use a fictious name or address.
Do not be lazy and try to shortcut the correct way to be stealth.
If you are selling phakes, then dont expect how to help :nono:
Do consider the stealth book because this was your get out of jail free card. |

And what's the disadvantage of this. | The New Accounts Rep helped me set up my checking account, he says no.
He says they check the address with the Post Office to ensure it is a registered address.
By the way, that account is still going and that was set up and selling 4 months before I discovered this forum. Pretty smart guy :spy: |

How can I Help You?,,,,,:peace: | I didn't thought i got an "attitude" aha. Ya it's miscommunication. I just wanted to know if we can use a fictional name and address or that's not possible not an option at all so we have an idea if the strategy in the Stealth ebook we can use at all or not before spending the time to learn it. If there's that option then that ebook is what we need and we'll definitely learn all about it....... im not being lazy i'm doing LOADS of researching it's all what i've been doing for a year now....., just wanted to know if this Stealth ebook is worth the time and efforts for us if it has the solution we needed- that is, using fictional name and address- as i'm pretty exhausted doing researching and studying :faint: |
| GreenBean | 01-26-2011 11:53 PM | Just as we are pretty exhausted trying to work out exactly what new users want.
Now IF you had asked the question in your last post, I would straight away have said:
Do consider having the stealth book. It has much info in it about how to be stealth successfully. And your idea of phony names/address is NOT one of them.
You have an added problem for two reasons: the friend in the USA & the nature of the item you are thinking of selling. My learned associate, rsot, asked about your items with no reply. I know, you know, what that meant ;)
In any case, yours is a road that might be difficult. Not impossible but....
If you have a question, feel free to pm me.
For future posts, be straight with us: we will be straight with you.
Peace & Mungbeans :peace: |

| Orionbell6 | 10-22-2011 12:23 PM | I READ the stealth, you can use a made up address and name, but problem may occur when your buyer wants to return something...right? Also I haven't set up any stealth accounts because the PO box option is pretty pricy and I dont have another address to use...Does anyone know any other ways to add an address to Paypal/Ebay? (I live in CA) |
