My First 2 Stealth Accounts Open. Advice?

Hello,

I have my first 2 new stealth ebay accounts up. A few things I need answers to before proceeding. Both accounts are 30+ days old with no feedback yet.

1. Should I let them sit longer before buying or listing?
2. How many listings should I put up per week to stay safe?
3. Should I make a few purchases and get the feedback from them before I start selling?

Appreciate this site and the people who help all the newbies.:hail:

Thanks,
Sean:juggle:

it depends on what you are selling.

i have sold without buying on accounts - ive browsed though - and watched a few items.

I think the most frequent advice is to unload household items at first - like a newbie, although I have tried both methods - with success.

Do you know your limit yet - this is usually determined after they know ehat you are selling - 100 p/m if safe goods - 10 p/m if high risk. They could also keep you at 100 p/m - but only allow you to list higher risk items at 3-10 p/m.

I don't know my selling limit yet. I'll post back when I find out.

When you are in your "My EBay" page click on the link that says "All Selling". It will tell you what your limit is.

I my selling limit is 6 item per month, Should I reach the limit slowly or fast?
For example, If I list 6 items on 10/19 and reach the limit, I will be able to list again on 11/19. If I list slowly, lets say 1 item per week, it will take me 6 weeks to reach the limit and wait for another 30 days to be able to list again which takes much longer than that first option but less risk.(I am assuming)
What do you guys think?

6/pm is a low number so i'd take the careful route.

whoa so thats determined only by risk of items being sold???? thats the only factor?

MakerViet 10-21-2011 04:02 PM

U should start by 1-2 items.. and wait.. now ebay always kill if hight risk./..buy afew items is good.... if u can

dibley69 11-08-2011 03:25 PM

thanks for all the input, i have so much to re-learn after being away from it for the past year after getting screwed by them

cmbhuy 11-16-2011 01:57 PM

all you have to do is list a non risky item you don't even need to buy feedback or anything. and wait till that auction ends before you list a more risky item

eencn9 12-22-2011 08:45 PM

sell right away

You can sell right away. What i would do is go to the 99cent store and buy some small stuff to sell. Buy like 5 things and post them on ebay with starting bid at 99cents and shipping at 2.50. Then you can keep doing this until you get some feedback. This has to be the easiest way to get feedback a-sap.

Hi ! The movement I verified my paypal with friends real info eBay lifted my limit from 10/£65 to 100/£4500 got 4 selling 2 buying feedback. Please advise my next ideal step, Can I list more items as I am listing 4/5 items at the movement. Not buy it now & my items are non branded under £10. Thanks

NotAHappyBunny 12-28-2011 08:43 PM

I have done this - but it depends on what you are planning to list - sometimes they keep your current 100 limit - but restrict you greatly on listing certain products, they have set limits for the risky items.

koko007 12-29-2011 01:45 AM

My items are not branded £5 to 10 range. Since my selling limit is lifted I have only sold 6 items,
Is it ok to list 10/15 item per week ? Please advice.
