Updating Old eBay account - When can I sell?

I have an eBay account I created several years ago and never used. Has no feedback. Nothing was ever sold or purchased from this account. Up until a couple weeks ago, it had been years since I logged in.

A couple weeks ago and changed the following information related to the account: email address, address and phone number. I created a new paypal account and linked it to the ebay account. Along with a credit card and bank account. All have been verified.

My question is how long do I need to wait until I list an item. I will start out slow and list low value items.

Just did not know if being inactive for so long would send up any red flags?

Thanks
DD

Definitely would throw up flags trying to sell right away. I am a 30 day fan of buying and building history but some people like 2 weeks and even 1 week. Read around and make an informed choice - bring your account back into active zone

Flags already got raised. Soon as you made an input of changing data, the system started to log that....

System is waiting for the next action from you.

At your 1st listing, there is a high chance of a temporary suspension from either ebay/paypal.

All you have ( right now) in their eyes is an inactive account from a couple f years ago. It has no creds with them whatsoever.
You will need to nuture the account carefully.

I would not do much with this account for a while other then browse, add to watch list etc.

As GB stated you opened up a can of worms but now if you walk slowly and dont do anything too fast hopefully it will be fine.

I would wait at least few weeks. Then maybe attach a VCC and buy some few low value items to build some feedback, after at least a month then try selling something. That's just what I would personally do, but opinions will vary.

Take things slow. They will make you call and verify personal info if you change a bunch of info on the account and make listings, or they will reverse the changes you have made.

Few weeks have passed now - sell a couple of items and wait for the sale to finish. Unless the account is definitely in a problematic state...
