Need advice on creating a new Ebay account due to selling limits

So I'm having issues with Paypal because they have placed a limit on my monthly selling amount.

My Ebay performance is currently below standard because I was late getting some packages out. This caused the "below standard" and I went from being able to sell around $5,000 a month to $1100 currently.

So I'm guessing no matter how much I improve my shipping time this "below standard" rating will remain in place.

Am I right on this? Is this Ebay Stealth guide worth getting to create a new Ebay/Paypal account? I need some serious advice from the experts here.

Thanks,

There is a thread about who purchased it and what they think of it.

The book and spending lots of time here will help you more then you will ever know.

Many fantastic success stories have came out of this forum.

What you put into it is what you get out of it.

If you improve the shipping time eventually the bellow standard rating will go. They review the ratings on a monthly basis.

Stealthing is a very good way to spread the risk if this ever happens account, just one account would be effected.

The guide is brilliant, as it the forum and with time and research you will be able to learn a lot from both.

Above thread gives the thoughts of many users.

It's win-win for everyone. The book is your at hand guide to be stealth and the forum is your place to get the latest info on what ebay/paypal are doing.

Make a successful combination of these, operate well and you win.

Good Luck

What are your DSR's looking like? Keep an eye on those numbers to make sure they are improving and you should get back above standard.

Stealth guide is meant to help you setup linkfree accounts so that you wont be tied to old accounts. How you choose to operate is at your discretion and also, lot of advice circulates on this forum.

I am a big advocate fo spreading sales over multiple accounts.

As for your current predicament, you can rebuild your DSRs and over time, your limits MAY increase (nothing is 100% sure with eB)...in the mean time, get selling on new untouched accounts.

I would have to agree with all the posts above and advise you to purchase the Stealth guide.

If you do as you should and spread sales across multiple accounts, it will take some time to get the trust of eBay on each one of the accounts up to where your main account is now.

The guide goes over how to avoid getting hit hard by eBay, which could affect your eBay business all together if you don't have a backup plan like having multiple accounts to sell from.

Just to give you some positive feedback op.

I came here 4+ years ago not knowing anything other then my knowledge of the categories of picking antiques and collectibles since I was a young kid.

Started with buying a couple accounts from a seller here and then spent no less then 6 hours a day pretty much every day for more then a year reading, learning, asking questions etc.

Things change constantly so you have to adjust.

For me I knew the selling limits were coming ahead of time so I spent countless hours making as many accounts as I could.

You will always need to be ahead of the game just in case.

For me I saw the need to have multiple accounts before they became popular and the limits hit.

If you can have as many accounts as you can manage, or let them sit and age with some activity.

It will pay off.

@Sandy, some very very good advise and totally agree. Key to success is many accounts.

Sandy D 05-13-2013 08:39 AM

Thank you. I want others to be successful and be ahead of the game.

The way to go is have as many accounts as you can and be active on them allowing some to age while making money on some.

My guess is in the near future some grandfathering will be going on.

Significant changes were done in 2007 to some features of seller's accounts....2013 now - overdue for a change, true.

That may never reach the heights we had prior to 2008.

I agree creating accounts and keeping them viable will be beneficial long term.

I would say not to give up on your account yet (while you are doing stealth). Sell low end items for fast DSR improvement - you might be able to salvage the account. Dont mix up operations with your other stealths though

I think in the near future there will be some major changes coming and for them to a complete overall they wont be able to handle everything from today back therefore any account made today for the future is a huge plus.

If there is any sweeping changes I think it will be larger then 2008 myself.

Some also need to understand that having an account plus using it in some way is vital to its growth. Letting it sit wont work anymore.
