I was going to post and similar threads came up that answered my questions and oops I accidently posted this thread.
Well I have a question that I could not search for and hope you fellows can help me.

My wife's ebay account was suspended so she will need a new PP for her new ebay acc. Can she use her same social and/or name or will that link to her old suspended acc? In the past, Paypal has frozen my funds because of many claims of item not received. In case that happens with her new PP account, she would not be able to verify everything that PP requested such as photo ID and documents if she used a different name.

Thanks I appreciate your answer. I was considering opening a new ebay/paypal in my friends name but what would happen when it comes to income tax? Do people file taxes for each paypal account they have?

Hi, here is not recommended to use friends/relatives names for accounts. If anything goes wrong you will drag them in trouble. What about a slight name change in your wife new account? Something like a middle name or just misspell it. Also for the address and eveything else... you shall not use old infos or you might be linked.

let me show you an example of how i go about the address part.

So lets say my address is:

XXXX
5603 N Dolan drive

I would change it to

XXXX
5603 Dolen drive

Usually i test this buy buying an amazon product and i still get it in my mail. As for name, alter it a teenie bit which will delay the name.

I always have this theory that name won't make a major difference. For example, how many ppl are there in the U.S that have the name SAM JOHNSON? I mean its a generic name and there are hundreds of people that have that some name. Is paypal going to limit them all?

but how do us in the USA get around the SSN request? even if we did modify our name and address, the SSN is going to link for sure...

that's is a very important things ,I never see any person discuss it.
same paypal still can use same SSN? ,if I need a new SSN how to get it and
mismatch ? don't know please advise

some forumers think same surname or variation of it is a good idea actually...for alot of reasons..if you mix it with a business address, it can work. Also, search forum for EIN.

I have never given paypal my SSN so far. I see no point. I never reach the 20k limits and i avoid the 20k limit by using stealth accounts.

I don't know about other members here. How about making a corporate account with a TIN or EIN?

Smart move - spread sales over many accounts to avoid hitting limits

I spread sales over 100s of accounts and so far no SSN request this year.

Just curious, but what are the costs of the most expensive items you are selling?
