paypal accounts with more than 1 ebay attached

I was reading that you should not have more than ebay account attached to a PayPal but now I see others saying it's ok. Can someone pls clarify

It's best to stick to 1 Ebay to 1 Paypal, Having 2 or more Ebay's to 1 Paypal is just too messy.
