Sky Fibre - Hard to use
 

Just a warning in case anyone else is thinking moving that Sky Fibre optic broadband and is hard to switch IP addresses.

I've recently moved from VM and the modem 'sky hub' they provide doesn't have modem mode so although you can piggy back another router to it, it's still bound to their mac address etc. I've bought another modem to try and do the trick but I've not had much luck as yet.

Anyone else with them?

Get yourself a MiFi and a cheap monthly SIM much easier than trying to use a fixed line connection

I prefer a fixed line, I can tether o2 or vodafone if required but the 3 let alone 4G signal is rare.
