Default Replacement account

Hi,

I hope someone can help me.
In short, this is my situation:

- My real ebay is restricted. My PayPal business account is fine.
- Just purchased someones real ebay business account, many years old and a lot of feedback.

Do I change the address or leave it alone? If so, real, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or virtual?
Do I use my existing paypal account, but with different email? Or MUST I go through the process of making a new stealth paypal account?

Thanks,

Unless you have the Paypal account to go with it, don't touch it with a bargepole.

You need to know status of the eB account - did it have a PP with it? Very risky to just make a new PP for it - possibly, a bad pp account was associated.

You cannot just link your old pp to this eb and hope to have a LONGTERM solution - it might last awhile but it is risky doing.

The ebay account and pp account have a clean hisotry, and both business accounts.
There is currently the old pp account attached to it.

The person I have purchased the account of will happily give me any information of hers, so that is no issue.

Is there really no way other than asking for access to the origonal paypal account?

I'm happy if the account lasts only 6months. As long as my real paypal account is not effected.

If she gives me the pp account as well... I'm guessing I have to remove the card details, add a virtual card etc?

Ok. So she has now given me the pp account as well. She has removed all bank / card details obviously. Is this ok for me to use now? Or must I change the address?

She removed bank cards and bank accounts?

I would wait to change anything else at the moment as removing that could raise flags all by itself.

Its a very risky situation

You would need to add in your own bank account if you want to withdraw funds

only reason I went ahead and purchased this; i found some guy earning a living buying ebay business accounts, and selling them to other businesses to give them a 'head start'.
He has done it for years.
So there must be a legit way of doing this.

And did this guy ever tell you how many of his buyers got banned permanently from ebay after these transactions?

All that glitters is not gold.

Sounds like zudo needed to do more research before plunging into this one, buying used eBay accounts is always dodgy and there seems to have been few people buying them from others outside this forum recently, and then the buyers ending up on here because they don't know what to do next

@RosieT'

I agree. I know of a buyer who spent £15,000 on a supposedly sweet deal like this.

outcome: one dead dodo account.

@zudo, before you go any further - understand stealth and read the forums - we don't know enough of the history of this account to make 100% recommendations so decision is all yours
