Mobile Internet Data Multiple Static IP Connections
 

Hi,

Anyone know of a mobile hotspot device that offers wifi connection to a device that offers multiple static ip's

Limited to tethering from phone, but using too much data. Require increased data plan, than thought, I wonder if a device exists that gives off multiple wireless connections each with its own static ip

From Canada (Telus, Rogers, ect..)

I have always used A jailbroken iPhone but I tether off of but I'm also grandfathered into unlimited data plan through AT&T lol

But let me find a link for you I know Verizon i and some other companies have unlimited data through air cards I have seen them on eBay for sale! Kind of ironic huh lmao

Are the ip's dynamic (constantly changing) or are you able to get a constant (static ip).

My idea was to run an office from my car, using a main wifi hub that has multiple connections each with their own static ip, but I fear this doesn't exists because its too good to be true.

How are VPN's with eB? So far my experience is only router & tethering, trying to keep my overhead down.

My next question would be, how big are the IP pools with Verizon?

MM78 please reread my post I said I was giving him an "example" of what I was talking about for him to use I did not say verizon works in Canada at all?

If I was just to tell him hey, get a dongle or get a jet pack more than likely he will not want know what I'm talking about.

Don't know of a static IP except cable provider...and that's no good for stealth. I use Bell for wireless IP and it gives me dynamic but no control on keeping the IP static.

Thanks guys, my main concern is the ip pool as every so often I get a used one few times in a row. Wish it was possible to have multiple mobile hotspots with a constant ip for cheap. I guess all wireless hotspots/wireless data have constantly changing ip's?

Pretty much so - unless you can keep the main connection of the wireless provide ALWAYS on...without disruption...you would need control of that...difficult
