Pros of Ebay Paypal Split

I once read an old how to guide by aspkin I believe. One of the steps said you could add an email to your original paypal account so you did not have to make a new one, however you could not do this anymore because ebay and paypal had merged. SO now that they are splitting will we be able to do this again?

Just because they split up does not mean that anything will really change.

They will still share information and stock piles of data about ex-users and members.

Im going to try it with a decade old paypal account.
I will add a new never used email to the paypal account then open an ebay account using the same info and see how it goes.

Yankee have you ended up trying it? If it works it would be perfect for me I have a few PayPal accounts with ein on it and the eBay was closed..
